Brief Description: 81st slide in series showing Henley Regatta.
Subject Date: 1911
Creator: Parker, W
Owner: Oxfordshire CC
Contributor: Centre for Oxfordshire Studies
Full Description: The men too don brighter colours than is their wont, for boating uniforms are in the ascendant. The river is alive with crafts of all kinds, and officials find it not an easy task to keep the course clear for each race, for there is not one, as in the case of the University Boat Race but many of them. Look at the policeman in the foreground - he looks as if he found it a hot job.
