Welcome to the River Environment theme of Thamespilot.
We will explore the power and diversity of the river environment, and mankind's attempts to pollute or enhance it, using artwork, photographs and documents made available by archives and libraries along the route of the river.
The theme is broken down into a number of sections which can be selected from the left hand panel. We will add to them as documents and images become available.
